Red Wine & Honey Glazed Chorizo


1 tbsp olive oil

1 pkg (7 oz) Campofrio Chorizo Sarta Picante, cut into large chunks

2 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed

2 tsp chopped fresh thyme

1/2 cup red wine

1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp finely chopped green olives

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

  1. Heat oil in large skillet set over medium heat; sauté chorizo, garlic and thyme for 6 to 7 minutes or until chorizo is golden brown.


  1. Add red wine and honey to skillet; increase heat to medium-high. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes or until sauce is syrupy and chorizo is glazed. Sprinkle with olives. To serve, skewer chorizo with cocktail picks.


Tip: Look for an inexpensive Spanish red wine to use in this recipe.
